2x Kudos for Kernbeisser

There's a mysterious guy called Kernbeisser on Flickr, posting pictures from within his daily work inside North Korea. I don't know his name, what his actual work is (but most likely he's engaged by one of the few NGO's active in the country…) — OR how he manages to use Flickr inside this very final frontier of the internets.

BUT! He's a great photographer and his dark and slowly increasing bitter feelings of the life in such country, is resulting in some amazing captions.

In the 2010 New Year’s Joint Editorial, the DPRK regime promised its citizens once again to bring about a "decisive turn in the living standard" by stimulating light industry and agriculture. However, the methods they dug out for this lofty purpose are just the same proven failure methods which have ruined the N. Korean economy during the last fifty years. It is hard to envisage how this promise could actually turn into reality.

an even more clumsy copy of the poster shown above. The little boy has turned into a monster.
